Frequently Asked Questions

What's next step after registration?

After registration, BSA Mississauga will contact registered families with important information about the season, including schedule, WhatsApp group, uniform, and next steps.

Where will the training sessions take place?

Training sessions will take place in Mississauga. Exact court addresses and schedules will be shared soon with registered families.

What age groups can join BSA Mississauga?

BSA Mississauga is designed for players ages 6–14 who want to develop their technical ability, confidence, creativity, and understanding of the game. Players will be placed in the most appropriate group based on age, level, and development needs.

Is this program for beginners or experienced players?

Both. BSA welcomes players who are serious about improving. Some players may be newer to academy training, while others may already play club or competitive soccer. Our goal is to challenge each player at the right level.

How are the training sessions structured?

Training sessions focus on technical development, creativity, ball mastery, decision-making, and game understanding. Players will be encouraged to try, solve problems, and develop their own style of play within the BSA methodology.

Why is futsal an important part of BSA’s development?

Futsal is a key part of BSA’s methodology. The smaller space and faster rhythm help players improve ball control, quick decision-making, creativity, confidence, and awareness under pressure.

What is BSA’s training methodology?

BSA’s methodology is based on creativity, confidence, character, and technical excellence. We want players to become more comfortable with the ball, more confident in their decisions, and more creative in the way they play. More than soccer, BSA believes in helping players grow as people.

How will my child progress at BSA?

Players will be evaluated throughout the season based on their technical development, attitude, effort, confidence, and understanding of the game. As players develop, they may be invited to move into a more advanced group or additional training opportunities.

What is the Elite Development Package?

The Elite Development Package includes 2 group sessions per week plus 10 semi-private sessions during the season. This option is designed for players who want extra individual attention, more repetitions, and a stronger development plan.

What if my child is registered for 1 session per week?

If your child is registered for 1 session per week, BSA Mississauga will share the available training days with you. Families can then choose the day that best suits their schedule, based on availability.

What if my child is registered for Half Season?

Half Season registration covers 12 weeks only. If you would like to renew for the rest of the season, you may do so at any time during the season, based on availability. Please note that waiting until the final week may result in no spots being available.

What should my child bring to training?

Players should bring indoor soccer shoes or clean running shoes, shin guards, water bottle, and the BSA training uniform. Outdoor cleats are not allowed for indoor sessions.

How will communication work during the season?

BSA Mississauga will use WhatsApp and the Crossbar app for communication. Each training group will have its own WhatsApp group for direct updates and reminders. The Crossbar app is available on iOS and Android and will give families easy access to schedules, team information, and important season details.

Are make-up sessions available?

No make-up sessions will be available for missed classes. Each session is planned based on the group’s structure, coach-to-player ratio, facility booking, safety, and season progression. This helps us maintain the quality and consistency of the program for all players.

What is the refund policy?

Refunds follow the BSA Mississauga refund policy listed on this registration page. Please review the refund policy carefully before completing your registration. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us directly.

Who can I contact if I have questions?

If you have any questions, please contact BSA Mississauga by WhatsApp, email, or in person. We will be happy to help you choose the best option for your player.
